Albert Abramovitz
Title : From the Factory
Inventory ID : MIST104
Price $400.00
Description : Abramovitz created this image in the heart of the Great Depression. The title is ambiguous as these workers could have just finished their shifts in the factory or they could have been "let go" to face the uncertainties and hardships of the unemployed.

Denis Bowen
Title : Image 9
Inventory ID : 19317
Price : $3,500.00
Description : This drawing is done using a combination of sprayed and dripped silver and applied copper and ink. From the estate of Lilly Stern, owner of Molton Gallery in London in the 1960's.

Gustave Baumann
Title : Hopi Corn
Inventory ID : 20334
Price : $15,000.00

Stanley William Hayter
Title : Family (aka: Familie Japonaise or Japanese Family)
Inventory ID : 20369
Price : $2,750.00
Description : The editioned impressions of "Family", such as this, are colored quite differently than the color trial proof illustrated in the catalogue raisonné. As with many of Hayter's work from this period the color was applied using stencils and rollers, each impression will vary slightly in color. "Family" was published by the St. George's Gallery in London. Hayter printed the edition at Atelier 17 with help from other artists working there.

Doris Seidler
Title : Winter III - February Fog
Inventory ID : DOS133
Price : $2,800.00
Description : Atelier 17 proved the primary art training of Seidler's prolific career as a printmaker. She studied at the Atelier when it first opened in New York, then again after a brief return to her English homeland in the late 1940s. In the late 1950s she began to experiment more broadly with color and abstraction in her printmaking. As seen in this color intaglio, the contained nature of line in her engraving makes way for the softer edges of etching and dark, muted tones. For more information on the artist, please see our biography, above.

Armin Landeck
Title : Approaching Storm, Manhattan
Inventory ID : TILA105
Price : $3,500.00
Description : Manhattan's urban landscape provided Landeck with a rich source of imagery for his prints. In Approaching Storm, Manhattan, the view of the city is from a rooftop where the curved top of the ladder stands in contrast to the hard-edged buildings and their angular shadows.
