SET ESPAI D'ART is pleased to invite you to the opening of the exhibition Jordi Teixidor. Contemplaciones: Ana H. del Amo, Guillermo Mora, Nico Munuera, Mar Vicente, curated by Rosa Ulpiano. A project that gathers a series of works created in different techniques and stages by the National Prize of Plastic Arts 2014, and academic of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, Jordi Teixidor (Valencia, 1941). The exhibition is linked from the perspective of four artists from different generations, articulating a discourse around a work by Teixidor with one of their own. The dialogue invites to reflect through different grammars and vocabularies about concepts such as the act of painting and its limits, geometry, abstraction, the gaze and its evolution, totality and unity, contemporary nihilistic dimensionality or absence-presence . Each in their own way, the artists tell the ways in which they have been inspired by or drew from the painting, either conceptually or as a product of a personal reinterpretation for the benefit of their particular discourse and contemporary aesthetics.
