Costantini Art Gallery will host for the first time in their own space, the exhibition of Andrea Cereda. The sculptures are made of Cereda mainly with wire and slabs from bins worn, faded and rusty that sometimes undergo further treatment of combustion, which gives the sheet a burnished appearance with unusual and unpredictable maculazioni color. On show will be two series of works: "Metamorphosis" and "La parte sommersa del sé" (The submerged part of the self) The first cycle is the reference to archaic and primordial forms that can be read both as an ancient meteorite, is as remote or molecules, yet, as cocoons on the verge of unfolding life; on the outer shell can be seen distinctly stitching, punching and welding by the deliberately crude and not defined that contribute, together with the sheet ignited, to realize an area of vibrant colors and material. Instead the cycle "La parte sommersa del sé" is composed of the skeletons of sparse and simple boats, to represent the wrecks as synonyms of the unresolved questions that each of us brings to dental though. Being made of recycled, puts in close connection the philological aspect of these sculptures with their intrinsic meaning, in fact, as they appear worn, rusted and abandoned, in the same way might appear equally worn, deteriorated and forget all those issues that are sunken under our coscenze.
