Konrad Fischer Galerie is very glad presenting the new show of Thomas Schütte. We’re opening the fall season with his new ceramics and watercolors.
On the terrace, the audience will be welcomed by the new ceramics series “Gartenzwerge“ (garden gnomes). Furthermore, the artist introduces his new Janus-faced “Doppelköpfe“ (twin-heads) plus a selection from his series “Eierköpfe“ (eggheads), masks and small bronzes. The show will also present a series of new watercolors titled “Radio Songs“. Here the beholder will revisit classic songs like “Easy like a sunday morning“ or “Don't leave me this way“ among others, as well as a new graphic portfolio based on the “Gartenzwerge“ ceramics. Finally, 18 architectural models from recent years are exhibited on the top floor of the gallery. Some of them have already been implemented.
The exhibition will be a part of DC Open - Düsseldorf Cologne Open Galleries.
We look forward to seeing you in Düsseldorf.
Moreover, we would like to call your attention to the exhibition “Under the Weather“ by Richard Deacon at Thomas Schütte’s Skulpturenhalle in Neuss/Holzheim. Opening reception: 4 September 2016, 12 am. The show runs until the end of 2016.
