ABSTRACT :
Growing out of Pan American Art Gallery of Dallas, TX, Pan American Art Projects was founded in Miami, FL in October 2006. We focused on Experimental and Conceptual Contemporary Art of the Americas in a 12,000 sq ft. compound in the heart of the Wynwood Art District. The space featured multiple exhibition rooms, on-site storage, library, and an apartment with a studio for visiting artists. In March 2016, we relocated to the historic Little Haiti and Little River neighborhoods. The GALLERY is dedicated to exhibits of our represented artists; and the ANNEX is dedicated to special projects using works from our collection. The counterbalance between the two spaces provides the opportunity to analyze Contemporary Art through a historic point of view offering a different appreciation for art of the Americas.
