NEW YORK – MILES McENERY GALLERY is pleased to announce a presentation of new paintings by Isca Greenfield-Sanders. The exhibition will be on view Thursday 21 May through 11 July 2020. The exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated publication featuring an essay by Kris Paulsen.
For over twenty years, Isca Greenfield-Sanders has created landscape paintings based on found vintage photography, that invite her viewer to forge a connection to their own experience. In her newest body of work "Shade My Eyes," fragments of images have been distilled into carefully composed paintings, which emerge simultaneously familiar yet enigmatic.
