In 2008 Verbicky's work was selected by the Societie Nationale des Beaux-Artes for an exhibition at the Carrousel du Louvre at the Louvre in Paris, France. His artwork is counted in thousands of private, public, celebrity and museum collections worldwide, and has recently sold at auction with Sothebys. While Verbicky exhibits in galleries from Berlin to Mexico and across the United States, this will be his first exhibition in Sun Valley. With this in mind he has created eight new paintings from his most highly sought after series to present to collectors.
My work developed as a means to abstractly convey the way people are influenced by media. We are inundated with information, brands, advertisements, all of which are an attempt to influence us to buy and consume. My work takes this information and transforms graphic data into complex visual systems.
