For more than 10 years, Mark Edwards has filled his canvases with the same eerie motifs: snow, ominous shadows, isolated houses, balloons, trains and inscrutable men in bowler hats. These 'White Wood' paintings have earned Mark legions of fans.
Now, the artist is back with a new collection – and the mystery deepens. This time there are unexplained bonfires and distant flames: fire to go with ice. As ever, Mark’s work throws up more questions than answers.
