ArtMoorHouse in association with Clemence Petit and Alphashire is proud to present INDIAN SPRING an exhibition of painting by GHASS
With over 30 years of creation and a life course marked by the longest unconventional war of the 20th century between Iraq and Iran, the artist Ghass pursues his "PEACE" program with a new medium for expression.
For nineteen years, Ghass limited his palette to three distinct colours: red to reflect the sky after a bombing, black in memory of burnt landscapes and white as a traditional symbol of peace and innocence.
In 2010, after the death of his parents, Ghass decided to introduce a fourth colour, yellow to his paintings. The new colour came to represent a type of rebirth, a "hymn to life and hope."
In 2016, after Alexander CALDER (1975), Franck STELLA, Roy LICHTENSTEIN, Andy WARHOL and Jeff KOONS, it is for the artist GHASS' turn to create a link between the art world and car racing by completely metamorphosing an Alpine A450 (www.alpinea450byghass.com) which was introduced during the launch event of The Grand Palais.
In 2017, Ghass has introduced blue to bring the breath of fresh air the world sorely needs during these tumultuous times.
On the 17th of November in London, Ghass will be giving the Football For Peace awards to the winners.
