Print workshops play an indispensable role in the production of graphic art. Creative printers have enabled pioneering innovations for specific art works and art history in general. Since 2015 our gallery – specializing in prints for over 150 years – has been inviting various print workshops to present their craftsmanship and artistic production. This year we proudly present the print workshop of Lorenz Boegli, focusing on the youngest independent printing technology: the silkscreen. The exhibition will reveal the diversity and outstanding quality of this printing process, notably in the domain of artistic production. Since 1992 Lorenz Boegli realized serigraphs for various Swiss and international artists as well as editors and has been awarded with numerous prizes. His workshop in Müntschemier is the center of this craftsmanship and his unique printing skills.
