Bold use of color is a particular skill, and challenge, for an artist. As Claude Monet stated, "Color is my day-long obsession, joy, and torment," and contemporary artists Andy Taylor, Angus Wilson, and Allison Stewart certainly agree. Each is known as a Master of Color in their own right and style, artfully combining texture, bold strokes, layers, and of course, color, in their strong landscapes and still life paintings.
