Galerija Gregor Podnar is pleased to present Light Solidarity, Vadim Fishkin’s (b. 1965, Penza, USSR) sixth solo exhibition with the gallery. The work of this Ljubljana based artist comprises objects, sculptures and installations that challenge the concepts of materiality and immateriality of ideas.
The works presented at Light Solidarity are described as a poetical existence between elements such as light, time, and movement. Resulting in a humorous yet deep understanding of the representation of material objects. The dematerialisation is not Fishkin’s final goal, on the contrary, it’s a form that allows him new ways of understanding and representing reality. Installations and sculptures would be the focus of the exhibition allowing to dive into Fishkin's theatrical set.
