Stephen Friedman Gallery is delighted to participate in South South's Online Viewing Rooms for the final stage of the platform's inaugural event, South South Veza. In this unique project, we join over 50 galleries from more than 30 countries and 5 continents, united in their dedication to art of the Global South.
The gallery’s presentation demonstrates its passionate, long-standing interest in art from South America and the African diaspora. On display is a diverse selection of works by Juan Araujo, Tonico Lemos Auad, Melvin Edwards, Manuel Espinosa, Kendell Geers, Federico Herrero, Rivane Neuenschwander, Mira Schendel and Luiz Zerbini.
