In his compositions strongly inspired by American neo-expressionist aesthetic harmonized with both the Japanese punk spirit and Zen wisdom, Takashi Hara makes the pigs talk. According to the artist, Pigs are the closest animals to human. Playing the role of intercessor between our animal and intellectual condition, the pig figures are humanised by the artist, questioning the rhythm of the artist's thoughts and dreams. Do these animal's voices help us to get out of our primary ways of thinking and begin to think about the world differently? Do they invite us to perceive a world which is detached from the material?
