Marielle Soons paints landscapes. They have evolved since her first exhibition
at the gallery: from a tranquil revelation of light and profound presence
discernible between and behind the elements of the visible world, they have
developed into images in which this visible aspect only provides the occasion
and the background for what is now shown directly: the truth of the landscape,
the inner voice of the world, the divine, powerful, generous light.
