Sabrina Amrani is pleased to announce the gallery participation in Art Basel Hong Kong 2023, presenting works by Carlos Aires, Manal AlDowayan, Joël Andrianomearisoa, Waqas Khan, Timo Nasseri, Jong Oh and Jorge Tacla, at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, booth 3C20. Additionally to our booth, Carlos Aires will be part of the Encounters sector, curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor, with a monumental sculptural installation Like Tears in the Rain comprised of shredded Euro banknotes and Mónica de Miranda will present her film Path to the Stars in the FILM sector Rivers, oceans, endless imaginations, curated by Li Zhenhua, at the Louis Koo Cinema, Hong Kong Arts Centre, Thursday, March 23, 3pm.
Both Carlos Aires and Mónica de Miranda take part in two different talks in the Conversations program of the fair. Carlos Aires will participate in the talk What Does it Mean To be Here, Now? with Trevor Yeung, Stanislava Pinchuck, Awol Erizku and Mella Jaarsma, on Thursday March 23, 10:30 am. and Mónica de Miranda will participate in the talk Time Travelers, When Artists Remix the Past to Reframe the Present with Sim Chi Yin and Kenneth Tam, on Thursday March 23, 12:30pm.
