For the 2022 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach, Venus Over Manhattan features a presentation of the gallery's core program, comprising new and historic works by represented artists and estates, including Anastasia Bay, Ana Benaroya, Katherine Bernhardt, Robert Colescott, William N. Copley, Wade Guyton, Keith Haring, Miyoko Ito, Michael Kagan, Susumu Kamijo, Basil Kincaid, Sophie Larrimore, Rachel Simon Marino, Maryan, Jim Nutt, Raymond Pettibon, Richard Prince, Peter Saul, Sally Saul, Keiichi Tanaami, Henry Taylor, Yuichiro Ukai, Andy Warhol, John Wesley, Christopher Wool, Dustin Yellin, and Joseph Elmer Yoakum. The presentation highlights recent additions to the gallery's program, and celebrates institutional support for our artists, including recent exhibitions and acquisitions at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, the Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Modern Art, and The Menil Collection, the installation features signature works by each artist presented. Offering major, and often rarely exhibited examples, the presentation demonstrates the gallery's commitment to artists overlooked by traditional art historical canons.
