Organized annually by the Art Dealers Association of America (ADAA), The Art Show offers intimately scaled and thoughtfully curated presentations of the highest quality—fostering active conversations with gallerists, new relationships, and close looking at works by artists from a variety of genres, practices, and national and international origins. With a history of programming that ranges from artist performances to dynamic keynote presentations, The Art Show provides its audience with a wide scope of cultural experiences, meaningful interactions, and illuminating exposure to phenomenal works of art.
In 2020 visitors can look forward to more than half of the fair dedicated to solo presentations, including 19 focused on female artists, as well as joint and thematic presentations. Member exhibitors, 7 exhibiting for the first time, will offer new perspectives on influential artists and opportunities for in-depth exploration of up-and-coming and underrecognized contributions to art history. The fair experience will also be enhanced by an updated look and feel, designed by Bade Stageberg Cox Architecture, an inventive, award-winning firm with wide experience and a longstanding focus on the design of art galleries, museums, and spaces for private collections.
